Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

The app collects no data. Tempoist makes no network requests. It has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no accounts, no in-app purchases, and no third-party SDKs. It doesn't ask for your name, email, or other contact details, and it doesn't ask for access to your microphone, camera, location, contacts, or photos. On the App Store, its privacy label is Data Not Collected.

Settings on your device. Tempoist saves four settings on your device, so it opens where you left off: your tempo, which click sound you chose, and whether the click and the vibration are on. They are never sent to us. Like the rest of an app's data, they are included in backups of your device, and deleting Tempoist removes them from the device.

Links out of the app. The app's Send feedback and Privacy policy links open our website in your browser, and its links to leave a review or to see Get Tuned open the App Store. The app sends no personal information with them. Our website is covered below; the App Store is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Website support form. If you contact us through runthroughapp.io/support, we receive what you choose to submit (your first name, your message, and your email address if you give one), along with the selected app, so we can respond. Resend, the service the form sends through, delivers the message to support@runthroughapp.io, our support inbox, hosted by our email provider, and keeps a copy in its log of sent emails. If you give an email address, we also add it and your first name to our support contact list at Resend so we can follow up. We keep that list separate from our marketing list and do not send marketing emails to it. If you email support@runthroughapp.io directly, your message arrives in the same inbox. The app's Send feedback button opens this form in your browser; the app itself does not send your name, email, or message.

Our website. The Tempoist pages use our website's analytics, PostHog. It records the pages you visit, the links and buttons you click, how you scroll and move the mouse, how fast pages load, and your browser, device, screen size, language and time zone, and it records about 1 in 10 visits as a session replay, a recording of the page as you saw it that hides what you type into form fields. PostHog receives your IP address but discards it and doesn't work out your location from it. It keeps an identifier, with the page you arrived on and the page that sent you there, in a cookie that expires a year after your last visit and in your browser's local storage. To stop it, turn off JavaScript for runthroughapp.io or use a content blocker that blocks requests to runthroughapp.io/ingest; blocking cookies alone doesn't stop it.

3. Third-party services

The Tempoist app uses no third-party services. On our website, the Tempoist pages use PostHog (US cloud) for the website analytics described above. Resend sends support form messages to our support inbox, holds our support contact list, and keeps a log of the emails it sends; our email provider hosts the support inbox. We do not sell this data or share it with advertisers or data brokers. PostHog processes this data for us under its data processing agreement, which requires it to protect the data at least as well as this policy does. If you download or buy Tempoist, Apple handles that through the App Store; we do not receive your payment card details.

4. Data retention, deletion and your choices

The app sends us nothing, so we hold no app data about you to look up, export, or delete. To remove the settings Tempoist saved on your device, delete the app.

Website analytics are retained in PostHog according to our PostHog plan's data retention period. Your support messages stay in our support inbox, and your name and email address in our support contact list at Resend, until you ask us to delete them. A copy of each message also stays in Resend's log of sent emails until Resend removes it.

To have your support messages deleted, along with the name and email address you sent with them (including any copy in our support contact list), email support@runthroughapp.io. Copies in Resend's log of sent emails are removed when its retention period ends; we may not be able to delete single entries from it.

5. Children

Tempoist is not directed at children under 13. The app collects no information from anyone, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of Tempoist after an update means you accept the revised policy.
